Oh my god dawgs! we haven't posted in SUCH a long time, and we sincerely apologize. I suppose things have just been ridiculously busy lately, so we haven't had time to actually take pictures of any of the delicious food we've eaten since our last post.
BUT I do have a special little gelato outing to share with everyone! a few weeks ago my dad and I went to North Beach to get some gelato. Since North Beach is something like a "little Italy" (but is a little overdone in my opinion), literally like EVERY OTHER store sells gelato. After circling around the neighborhood for a while we decided on this one place, Naia (http://gelaterianaia.com/). It was probably this ice cream cone structure that drew us in:

There were SO MANY flavors, and some of them were a bit surprising. Like you wouldn't expect them to be sold as gelato. In a good way though.

CANNOLI FLAVORED!!!

For example, my dad got CANNOLI flavored gelato. AMAZING choice. It had bits of chocolate, pistachio, and the actual cannoli shell mixed in!!


aaand then there was me, who was trying to be bolder and more adventurous with the flavor choosing. But as always, it ended up being a debate between chocolate, dark chocolate, and mocha.


I GOT MOCHA. which is very different from coffee flavored ice cream/gelato..it is more chocolaty, obviously. so i made a pretty adventurous selection AND got my chocolate fix :)

soo I promise that Heather and I will be more RESPONSIBLE when it comes to the food blog. We were procrastinating there for a bit, but hopefully this post     gets us back into the swing of things!
